It is recommended to spray the Calathea several times a week, or even daily, in order to clean their leaves and repel insects and spiders.
If one of the older leaves dries up or turns yellow, don't worry, it happens. You can cut it at the base.
REPOTING, CUTTINGS, DIVISION OF CALATHEA MAKOYANA
Calathea Makoyana doesn't need any specific soil, you can use potting soil for green plants indoors. So when the oldest leaves turn yellow, your plant no longer grows or when its roots come out of the bottom of the pot, you can repot your Calathea. To do this, take a pot with a diameter two or three centimeters larger and transfer your plant! Don't forget to scrape the soil at root level so that it is replaced by your new potting soil.
Calathea cannot be cut, however you can divide when repotting.

Coffea arabica, commonly known as the Arabica coffee plant, is a popular houseplant known for its rich-tasting coffee beans. Native to the mountains of Ethiopia, Coffea arabica is well suited to indoor growing, making it a popular choice for coffee lovers who want to enjoy the bean-to-cup process from the comfort of their own home. Coffea arabica thrives naturally in areas with mild temperatures, high altitudes, and adequate rainfall. It is particularly suited to tropical regions of East Africa, notably Ethiopia, where it was first discovered and cultivated. However, with proper care and attention, Coffea arabica can be successfully grown as a houseplant in various parts of the world. So whether you have a small apartment or a large garden, you can bring the beauty and aroma of this magnificent coffee tree into your own living space. Coffea, an ornamental plant, thrives in partially shaded areas and needs water weekly. It prefers well-drained soils, rich in organic matter. Coffea arabica, in particular, grows best in a mixture of soil, sand and peat. For optimal growth, fertilize the plant every four weeks during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer. This will provide essential nutrients needed for healthy growth. Remember, balancing light, water and soil conditions will help your Coffea thrive in its decorative pot. Coffea arabica, commonly known as Arabica coffee, is often used as a houseplant due to its ability to tolerate low light conditions. With its glossy green leaves and delicate white flowers, it adds a touch of tropical elegance to any interior space.
