Delivery of plants and terrariums, how are your orders packaged?

At La Green Touch, we take care to package each of your orders with quality, eco-responsible materials.

Packaging used for transport

Contrary to what one might think, it is quite possible to have a plant delivered directly to your home without having to go to a store.
The transport of plants is certainly something quite delicate, but be reassured thanks to the packaging we use, they will be protected throughout the duration of transport and will not suffer.

You should also know that your plants can remain in the box for up to 3 days, but not longer, the plants need a minimum light to be able to grow. feeding, a prolonged lack of light could harm your plants or even be fatal.
We will return to the delivery times just below.

For our plants & terrariums:

- The plant is wrapped in a plastic wrap appropriate to its size. Inside there are wedging so that the plant is better maintained throughout the transport and to prevent the soil from scattering inside the package.To maintain the freshness of your plant, they are regularly watered in our workshops before they leave to offer them the best travel conditions.
- Once the plant is packaged, we add bubble or craft wrap over it to protect it and prevent it from being damaged during transport.
- The final step, for our parcels we use double thickness cardboard that we close carefully with the appropriate tape. Accompanying the package, you will find a card La Green Touch thanking you for your order and indicating the procedure to follow to leave us a notice as well as the customer service email address to contact us.

Our commitments regarding the materials used

At La Green Touch, we are concerned about the environmental problems that surround us, and that is why we are committed to participating at our level in the fight against waste and pollution.

Here is some of the actions we have put in place:

Cardboard recycling in cushioning, to also better protect your orders.
Most of the jars used for terrariums are made of recycled glass.
Limit the use of plastic, our plant packaging is made from recycled plastic.
Some of our plants are in POTS recycled plastic containers.
Very soon the soil that we will use for our terrariums, the kits and the one that will be sold will be French and organic, natural and respectful of the environment.
Our pozzolan is organic and natural.

With his commitments, we have bigger goals for the years to come. We want to have no more plastic packaging for 2022, offer more French and environmentally friendly accessories, and offer locally produced plants.

What are the delivery times and costs?

For delivery, we offer several options to best meet your needs and expectations.

In addition to the delivery time, you will also have to take into account the preparation time for your order, which is generally 24 hours (excluding weekends).

The delivery time and amount depends on the carrier you choose:

- For GLS:
Delivery time is 48 hours and delivery costs are €5.90.
- For Chronopost:
At home, delivery time is 24 hours and delivery costs are €9.50.
At a pick-up point, the delivery time is 24 hours and the delivery costs are €6.50.
