Chamaedora Elegans Interview

This small indoor palm tree does not like direct sunlight, which would scorch its leaves. Place it in a bright room, although it will tolerate dark corners.

How do I care for my chamaedora?

You have to prune the leaves that dry as you go.

How do I water my chamaedora?

Chamaedorea elegans needs humidity, it is recommended not to let its soil dry out, without soaking it. This corresponds to one watering per week in winter and between two and three in summer depending on the heat. It is also advisable to mist its foliage regularly with mineral water.

When should I repot my chamaedora?

The Chamaedorea is repotted about once a year, ideally you should wait for its roots to come out of the bottom of the pot before repotting it.

How do I take cuttings from my chamaedora?

Frequent problems

Leaves are brown:

→ take care that your plant is not exposed to direct sunlight

→ as with many plants this happens when the plant is exposed to drought, clean it and place it in a more humid place.
