Care ceropegia woodii - heart chain

Entretien ceropegia woodii - chaîne de coeur - La Green Touch

Laetitia Tavares |

The Ceropegia is nicknamed the Heart Chain because of the shape of its small waterlogged leaves.

How do I care for my ceropegia?

Ceropegia woodii is a trailing succulent. It requires bright light, and to be placed in full sun ideally in the morning. The oldest leaves at the base of the pot can be damaged as water is added, they must be gently removed.

How do I water my ceropegia?

Like many succulents, the soil must be allowed to dry out completely before watering. The leaves can also signal a need for water: if they are tender and manage to bend, it is necessary to water. It is strongly advised not to water the Ceropegia, it is better to bathe them.

When should I repot my ceropegia?

It is a plant that produces very small roots, and therefore does not require regular repotting. Remember to do it all the same if your plant is no longer growing.

How do I take cuttings from my ceropegia?

It is easily knotted: cut a stem and place a knot in water or soil, roots should emerge within weeks.

Common problems
